1-24-10 - Recent Financial News Makes Forterus, Inc. (FTER.PK) Perfect

New perfect stock post. This choice caught my attention as a stock that was severely undervalued due to news the company released Friday after hours. It's a pinksheet stock, so it potentially could have a meteoric run up. Forterus, Inc. (FTER.PK) is the next perfect stock.

Forterus Inc. is engaged in diverse business activities, including drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and finance. The company maintains an intensive outpatient program in conjunction with sober living facilities. Hythiam, Inc. (HYTM) is a notable publicly traded company that would be considered comparable to Forterus.

News

On 1/22/10 after the market closed, FTER announced their 2009 fiscal year results. See below for the highlights:

- $383,937 in Net Income for Fiscal 2009 compared to a loss of $1,671,525 in Fiscal 2008.

- $5,842,182 in Revenue For Fiscal 2009 compared to revenue of $4,089,139 in Fiscal 2008.

- 435% increase in Net Income from Fiscal 2008 to Fiscal 2009.

- 43% increase in Revenue from Fiscal 2008 to Fiscal 2009.

- 0.43 Revenue Per Share (on share count of 13,513,264).

- $0.03 Earnings Per Share (on share count of 13,513,264).

Undervalued

As shown above the company reported a consolidated net profit of 383,937 or $.03 per share. With FTER.PK closing at $0.065/share on 1/22/10, the trailing PE is a ridiculously low 2. The CEO is quoted as saying, "We will continue to make strategic investments in qualified and experienced staff, the major asset of any quality organization, to complement the investments to grow our bed count as we continue on a sustainable, scalable and profitable growth path in fiscal 2010." He also mentioned that the company was able to weather the economic storm of last year because they had insurance contracts that provided steady revenue. I believe with these results most investors and traders will conclude that this stock deserves to trade at a much higher multiple. Right now, the current market cap for FTER.PK is less than $1 million. Hythiam, Inc. currently has a market cap of approximately $30 million. It is an understatement to say that Forterus is undervalued.

Low Float

On 12/31/09 FTER.PK had a share count of 13,513,264. The float is only about 5 million shares. With a stock this inexpensive and a float this low, there is a very high probability that this stock will move much higher and at a very rapid pace.

Technicals

See below for a chart of FTER.PK:

As you can see the stock has been quietly trading in the 5 cents range the past 4 months. The past couple of days, Forterus has traded higher on increased volume. This action is often a precursor to a significantly higher move. FTER.PK has a 52 week high of about 10 cents. With a surge in volume, which I'd expect after these results, this high should be tested. If it happens to break through that resistance, the stock could potentially run much higher. The 18 month high is $0.52 cents.

Conclusion

Rehabilitation facilities and services will always have a need in today's society. Forterus is one of the few publicly traded companies with expertise in this area and they have benefited from stable contracts in spite of tumultuous economic conditions. The company ended 2009 with stellar financial results, which based on the current share price was clearly a surprise to Wall Street. The stock has a low float and the chart appears to be setting up for a move higher. At a current PE of 2 I believe FTER.PK has the goods to at the very least double. This could happen as early as Monday, but to be frank, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it went well above that. Forterus, Inc. (FTER.PK) is the next perfect stock.

  1. Card, if you HAD to choose between GNXP and FTER which would you choose? I'm holding GNXP and I'd assume you will say immediately sell GNXP regardless of the price you're in at the open and immediately get in FTER at open?

    Fantastic find btw.

    ReplyDelete
  2. P, I like them both. I think FTER is more of a sure thing, but I wouldn't recommend for someone to sell one to buy the other.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Card, I checked the charts and just like you found FTER looks great and I got in at .1075 but I certainly don't like this shake that's going on back to .09.

What do you make of it and don't you feel we'll be back above .12 before you know it?

Shouldn't .20 or close to it be our target for the week?

    ReplyDelete
  4. P, 20 cents is the number in my head. I think you are fine at under 11 cents. This one will be a wild ride today.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Card, a VERY important question. WHEN do you recommended selling FTER?

Is it something we should sell EOD or it's something we should hold onto till Tuesday or Wednesday?

As you know stocks invariably pull back so that would be the time to get out and either get more shares or move onto the next stock.

    ReplyDelete
  6. P, it really depends on how it trades. I'd be better equipped to answer that question, later in the day.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Guys, check NBS, great China news plus very low float.

  8. Card, did you see how HPNN is up 70% today and will probably go even higher?

It looks like we should've gotten in HPNN Friday then sold early today and gotten in FTER. That would've been a SURE 200% to 300%gain in just a few days!

I'm VERY pissed about missing out on HPNN but I'm SURE we'll get a doubler or more out of FTER this week don't you think?

I'm so upset about missing out on HPNN and MMUH I'm hoping to sell FTER at .25 to .30 this week.

On IHUB they're talking about FTER is worth at least .30 to .40 and could even go to a DOLLAR!!

    ReplyDelete
  9. P, are you still holding any TDGI?

I got in at .03 and still see this stock as an investment as opposed to a quick flip.

Shares have been trading between .026 and .036 but hasn't been able to breakout of either level. I'm hoping the move is upward once some PR comes out, i.e., either a new deal at Sundance or the audited financials.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Tim, I'm no longer in TDGI and the funny thing is they actually went higher on the SPECULATION of their 10K than when the actual 10K came out!

They went all the way to .0385 before the 10K came out but then they only sputtered to around .033 when the 10K actually came out.

As you can see I posted about HPNN on Friday but I did NOT expect it to explode like this for over a 100% gain today on NO news!

I'm banging my head on wall now and REALLY counting on FTER to get to at least .20 plus this week to make up for this disaster!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Card, I found this post on FTER on another forum. Please tell me what you think.

It's the only negative comment I've found as every other comment on IHUB or anywhere else says no resistance till .2, .25, then .50 and we should be around .30 to .40 and could even go to a buck!!

Here is the ONLY negative post:

"I honestly bumped into this thread , and I decided to look at it's Balance Sheet. It's the weirdest but most hilarious thing I've seen. Look it over and see some of the expenses. It's very fishy......... It looks like it was prepared by Madoff's accountant's children.

Bank overdrafts, postage, bounce check fees, etc. It reeks of money laundering."

  12. That's what I thought, P. I remember you and bighoper1 saying you would probably be getting out around the .035 level.

The CEO said the company is bidding for the rights to the Terminator series as well as some other titles at Sundance.

If they could acquire Terminator, that might be the kind of PR to boost the share price to a more accurate valuation.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Tim,

I have not sold a single share of TDGI. Besides today's amazing article on ArkansasBusiness.com, I expect many great PR's, audited financials, uplisting, etc. My core position is averaged at just one cent so as long as there is no dilution I am reasonably expecting a 5-10 bagger in 2010. I am actually adding in the 2-3 cents' range for trading (flipping) purposes given the limited downside based on a strong 2-cent support and great outlook.

    GLTY

    ReplyDelete
  14. I share your opinion on TDGI, bighoper1. I could see it go nuts with some positive PR, but, if not, it should stay above the 2 cent support level.

I've also kept an eye on LGDI. It's dropped recently, but I like it long term. If it ever gets under a $1.00, I'll be loading up.

    ReplyDelete
  15. P, the fact that you were only able to find one negative comment about a stock speaks volumes. I think that's a pretty good sign for FTER.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Card, plus that negative post makes somes STUPID points.

He actually mentions bounced checks and there is ONE bounced check for a $7 fee!! LOLLLL!

Like that would matter for a million dollar corporation!

I just want us to close at least at .12 today since closing at the HOD is a very bullish sign plus we have to capitalize on the release of the 2009 financials and CEO Howarth's determination to build shareholder value.

Plus it's not too often you see a company with a low float of 5 million shares with an EPS of .03 trading under $.40

    ReplyDelete
  17. P, I think FTER looks pretty safe to hold over night unless it explodes for 18-20 cents the last hour of trading. At the current share price, the PE is still less than 4. That should bode well for those who might want to chase tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Card and P,

    congrats on FTER.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Bighoper and Card, what about the fact that we ALL missed out on a 100% plus gainer today in HPNN?

What's upsetting is that I posted about the boom in e-cigarettes on Friday yet I failed to get in them at this time and HPNN moved huge like this on NO news!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Card, you are a GENIUS!!

So we close at .19. I'm going to have my finger on the sell button at open tomorrow since I DON'T want to lose these profits. That doesn't necessarily mean I will sell.

Actually I just noticed some Form T trades have come in AH at .20!!

HOW do you see the open tomorrow and the day tomorrow for FTER?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Genius... I only wish I was. Fortunately, this one seems to have worked out pretty well. I wish they all did.

P, I'm with you. My finger will be on the sell button in the morning as well, but like you it doesn't necessarily mean that I will sell. Sure, this could potentially go much higher, but it's hard to risk the double we've already got.

My guess is that it gaps up in the morning to about 22 cents and then falls to about 14 - 16. However, this is purely a guess. It could just as easily spike to 40 to 50 cents by 10 AM if no one sells.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Card,

    fantastic call, keep them coming!

    P,

you were dead on with e-cigarettes. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to do some DD on your picks, as I was riding biotechs late last week (and very successfully I must say). The same to you as to Card: "keep them coming!"

    ReplyDelete
  23. Everybody keep them coming. I'm just happy that the blog is worthy resource for everyone. Me included.

Bighoper, I think your success rate the past 3 or 4 months has got to be at least 80%. That's almost unheard of. What's your secret?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Card, check this post out from IHUB.

"FTER 1-2 bucks easily. In order to equal HYTM's market cap right now, we must trade at around 2.25 $. But we are PROFITBABLE. The potenial here is MIND-BOGGLING.

Just HOLD ur shares, let the float get dry, let it run several days. U will be rewarded richly."

    HYTM is another healthcare/rehab company.

LOL! 1 to 2 bucks for FTER. What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  25. P, it's possible, but highly unlikely. The only reason why I would say that it is possible though is because the share structure is "VRMLQ like".

    ReplyDelete
  26. FTER, had a very nice press release come out this morning. I'm seriously conflicted now as whether I should sell early or hang in there for the potential of really big money.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Killer guidance from ISCR. Also, the chart is starting to look bullish. You might want to keep it on watch.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Card, I sold FTER at close to HOD and kept some good profit and then I bought some back at .20. I tried to get in at .189 but the order wouldn't go through.

It took some time for the order to even go through at .20. This must mean shares are TIGHT don't you think?

Don't you think I'm safe at buying back shares at .20?

We MUST go back to .22 and above sometime this week don't you see that? I'm thinking .25 to .30 this week at a MINIMUM.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think so P. I'm actually still holding. I decided not to sell just yet. We'll see if that's a bonehead move or not.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Huge volume on DEAR. Bounced off 1.80 and may go over 2 dollars today

    ReplyDelete
  31. Bighoper, I almost bought DEAR yesterday at the close because I thought the 35% selloff was overdone based on the news. Unfortunately, I never pulled the trigger.

    ReplyDelete
  32. P, HPNN is crazy hot. I guess I'm waving that train goodbye.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Card, there was really now way of knowing when HPNN was going to explode since it's not going on any news but only speculation and anticipation due to the ruling against the FDA that they can't interfere with the importation of e-cigarettes.

It could eventually go to .10 or higher but that's at least a few months down the road.

How are you reading FTER? I've already bought and sold and bought again at .17 and I don't plan on selling till we get back up to around .22 or so.

    ReplyDelete
  34. P, I finally sold FTER, but will consider rebuying if there's some consolidation between 14 and 16 cents.

A few people are buzzing about NFRX. It could be another quick double.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Card and Bighoper, I was warned early on to stay away from or be very wary of stocks with such huge bid/ask spreads.

With NFRX it's .32/.40 so you lose 20% right off the bat!

How do you guys read that?

    ReplyDelete
  36. SKGO also looking good.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Card, I changed my mind on NFRX. It looks primed to explode and I got in.

    You guys probably should too.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Nice earnings and volume for SIFY, may test $2.50 today

    ReplyDelete
  39. I could not resist and added TDGI at 0.025 today. This will be over 3 cents soon.

    ReplyDelete
  40. bighoper, I would have loved to add a few more shares of TDGI at that price but my money is all tied up. I picked up some shares of Citigroup, which, at this price, is a steal IMO, and have nothing in reserve at this point.

Usually, I get into penny stocks too late. I think I am too early with TDGI. I think this thing is going to take off once the audited financials are PR'd or the Company announces a deal at the Sundance Film Festival.

    I'm in at .03.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Card, CNGL has had a high of 4.21 and a low of 4.04 so it's been ABOVE 4 bucks all day. Do you mean CNGL could hit 5 bucks?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks, Card. I was watching CNLG after the opening bell and it looked like a sleeper with no volume. My mistake!

    ReplyDelete
  43. P, Card probably meant C N L G

    ReplyDelete
  44. TSFG - huge drop after terrible earnings, but now maybe starting to move back up

    ReplyDelete
  45. RPRX flying on huge news

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yes, I did mean CNLG. Sorry about that. I know it's currently in an intraday sag, but the volume per outstanding share is too big to ignore. Nothing in the market is a sure thing, but the odds are better than average that they'll be a late afternoon run today with a possible carryover in the morning. Shares have got to be running out.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hey Card,

With FTER hovering around .12, do you see this as another buying opportunity? Also, would you consider adding a feature to the blog called "Stocks I'm currently watching." I think a lot of people would benefit from knowing witch stocks you consider to be near perfect but not post worthy. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  48. Wow, the entire float of RPRX has changed hands in a few hours!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Callon (CPE) came back from the dead today. They got $44 million in a reimbursement. That should give them lots of wiggle room to start getting their house in order again.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Ship_It, the dip to 8 cents today in FTER makes me think that you might be able to get FTER a little cheaper. Friday, the stock closed at $0.065 and Monday it opened at $0.09. Today's dip leads me to believe that the MM's might be trying to fill that gap. You may get one more low ball opportunity in that 7-8 cents range before it starts to move up again. That might not be a bad place to put a limit order to see if you get filled.

Your idea regarding "a stocks on watch" blog is a good one. I've sort been using the comments portion of this blog for that purpose.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Card,

Any feedback on GNXP? I bought it a couple of days ago at .74, but it has slowly moved to 0.80 and today down to .75. Any reason to maintain the position?

    Regards

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sam, I sold out of GNXP at 78 cents yesterday because I got spooked by the drop in volume. It could bounce back, but with gold on the decline as of late, I decided to take the small profit and look elsewhere.

If you guys want to see some pretty charts, check out AEOH (it's still moving higher) and LIEG. I don't own either, but their charts are ridiculous. If I were to pick one to own though, it would be LIEG because it has more volume.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I fell asleep on MDXG. I should have caught that one days ago. It might be another to keep an eye on as a momo stock.

    ReplyDelete
  54. FTER came out with news just after the closing bell about a HISTORIC day. FTER could test .20 again tomorrow but if not then very soon!!

After all Card, this is your pefect stock!!

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Forterus-Announces-Historic-prnews-3720518199.html?x=0&.v=1

  55. Nice report from EK. It's also got 50 million shares short. It might run for a couple of days.

    ReplyDelete
  56. PFBC looking interesting today

    ReplyDelete
  57. Guys, VIPR looks like it could be ready for a breakout. Chart looks good.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Does anybody think the market will bounce off of DOW 10000 or do we have to go all the way to 9700 to find support? The big boys seem to be in "ring the register" mode.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Bighoper,

I remember back in late December that you mentioned CVRG as a good investment. Based on the stagnation of their share price, do you see a future in holding it?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Sam,

I bought a small position in CVRG on a recommendation and didn't have much time to do my DD except for checking their promising plans for 2010, check the last PR:

    http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&cb=1264696013&article=40861123&symbol=NO%5ECVRG

I am still patient, but there are probably much better and more liquid stocks.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Card, I'm not sure what is going on. Less than a month ago, the market was shaking off bad news left and right and continuing to push higher.

Now, the market is shaking off good or less bad news and dropping.

We've come a long way and I think the market is in purgatory right now, waiting for something to either tell us the recovery has plateaud or the recovery is for real and we are going to see robust economic activity and improving jobs numbers.

Friday's GDP number could be the tipping point.

If it's under 3.5, we're headed considerably lower.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I looked at HCKI at about 9:50 this morning and didn't give it a second thought. Look at that thing now!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Instead of chasing HCKI, I picked up a little SEVA instead since they own or are somehow affiliated with HCKI.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Card,

what about the risk of stock cancellation? Be careful.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Card, HOW did you find HCKI?? Also how can HCKI be OWNDED by SEVA because the parent company (SEVA) is a sub penny and the company they own (HCKI) is actually more expensive than they are!! .032 vs. .0005!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Card,

Would you buy FTER again today at approx 0.10? It looks like .10 is the new support level, but with such a small float, the price increases/decreases look to be very radical.......

    Thx

    ReplyDelete
  67. Bighoper, SEVA is just a short term trade. You would laugh if I told you how little I have invested in this. Purely a lotto play. I'm up 75% so far.

P, HCKI was up about 200% early this morning. It was on the Pinksheets.com Advancers page.

    ReplyDelete
  68. FSNM has established a nice support at 60 cents (no sellers?). With a possible 30 billion TARP for regional banks, this may be the next runner. Warning: earnings on Monday before the open.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Card and Bighoper, what do you make of a stock like ALIZF that up's 632% today and is up to $112.13 yet has NO bid and ask at all!!!

    WHAT is going on there??

Usually larger cap stocks are not multi baggers in one day like you see with pennies.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sam, I'd probably buy 75% at 10 cents and put a limited order for the other 25% at 7 or 8 cents just in case you get another dip.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Card,
what do you think about ONCY? Going up nicely.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Bighoper, ONCY looks to be a nice steady riser today (although I wish it had a little more volume). It'll probably be good for tomorrow too unless the DOW tests 10000.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thanks, Card.
Also thanks for the EK recommendation, I bought today at 5.50. They were just upgraded to "strong buy" by a S&P analyst.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I now wish I would have loaded the boat with SEVA seeing that it closed 300% more than my entry price. I never have the guts to put a lot in a stock with too many zeros behind the decimal place.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Card, you are so right on the .000x stocks. I've been warned many times about those and some people refuse outright to play them.

BUT I would've gotten in SEVA but my eyes would've never left the screen and my finger would be on the sell trigger.

The concern that exists with some of those .000x stocks is the TOTAL DOLLAR VOLUME. If there is not enough volume then you could have trouble getting out when it reaches its highs. But that is NOT a problem with SEVA as I see the volume is over a BILLION!!

Those .000x stocks can give you MASSIVE gains but you have to find just the right stock and that's RARE but you found one in SEVA.

    ReplyDelete
  76. 2 penny chart plays I'm monitoring today are TDEY and HMGP.

    ReplyDelete
  77. TONE exploding after new CEO appointed.

    ReplyDelete
  78. bighoper, Maria Bartalowhateverhernameis is interviewing George Soros to discuss some of the companies he's been investing in.

Airing Sunday morning at 7:30, I believe.

If he raises LGDI, that could boost the share price out of this temporary lull.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I missed CGMCQ lunch time news.

    ReplyDelete
  80. CGMCQ's high so far is 28 cents. If it doesn't continue higher, 14 cents might not be a bad entry if it gets there today for a Monday gap up.

    ReplyDelete
  81. At this point $1.00 or more seems almost certain by the opening bell on Monday morning for CGMCQ.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Card, I see the insurance companies are paying $100 million to CGMCQ to settle certain policies but WHAT happened to result in the settlement?? Was there a major accident or something?

    ReplyDelete
  83. I don't know P. It looks like CGMCQ lost it's luster once people found out that they had over $100 in debt and that shareholders might not get any of that settlement. That's why I ended up taking profits at 40 cents.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Card, $100 in debt?? LOL....I think you mean $100 million dollars in debt.

Where did you find that out? On Pinksheets?

    ReplyDelete
  85. I did mean $100 million, but the number is actually $512 million. It's on page 31 of their most recent 10-Q.

You never know how these bk stocks will end up, but CGMCQ will become a traders stock the next week or so. That means it could bleed down quite a bit or go up even more. If the stock breaks 50 cents with a little volume you could easily and quickly see a buck. I would make that a key pivot point to watch in the coming days.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Keep an eye on UCSO. It's getting volume and looks to be very thin. I think chasers might push it up. I nibbled a little under 4 cents.

    ReplyDelete
  87. BOFL is looking awful strong although I can't understand that spike earlier in the day on an expected but not great earnings report. It'd be tough to own this overnight though considering that they desperately want to do a share offering. Maybe somebody is planning to buy them.

    ReplyDelete
  88. can someone please explain the infatuation with TDGI? thanks

    ReplyDelete
  89. Dre, TDGI is a fundamental play.

It's a small company with loads of cash to make deals and is run by a successful veteran of the film indistry.

A fair valuation of the company is about 13 cents a share, but if any of the recently acquired films from Sundance hit it big (including a film starring 50 Cent, who is your protege, Dr. Dre), or if the audited financials confirm the recently released numbers, the share price could take off.

The CEO is also bidding on the rights to the Terminator franchise.

Usually, I get into penny stocks too late after the run has begun. This time, I think I'm too early waiting for news to push it higher.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Card, did you end up selling UCSO near .10? Can you please post gems like that AS SOON AS you find them so we can hop on board with you?

    Thanks buddy

    ReplyDelete
  91. Tim, thank you for the post. I had read the "Terminator" piece, and the Sundance piece, but can you please explain where you are getting "loads of cash" from and what that number may be, as well as float.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Dre, bighoper posted a link to the unaudited financials somewhere in the comments section of this blog.

Audited financials are supposed to be released some time this month.

And the loads of cash statement stems from the company's activity in negotiating deals, including acquisition of the rights to distribute the film that closed the Sundance Festival, Twelve, for $2 million. Currently, that is the second largest deal to go down at Sundance.

  93. Tim, thanks again, I will wait until he reposts that piece, as there are too many comments sections to find anything in this blog lol

Bought 10k at .0292 as I do like what they are doing. But this is very speculative, so not sure I would buy more than the small buy I did today. But hey, a triple on $300 ain't too bad if it happens.

    ReplyDelete
  94. P, I still have UCSO, but a very, very, small amount. It's a lotto play so I won't lose much at all if it tanks.

Looks like I dumped GNXP too soon. It had a big day today.

    ReplyDelete
  95. The two stocks I'm watching closely today are IXEH (bottom bouncer possibly to 4 cents) and IMAI (momo chart play). Both could be interesting today.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hey Card,
Why would IXEH bounce? IMAI is also very illiquid.

    thanks

    ReplyDelete
  97. Card, IXEH has gone from a high of .024 to a low of .015 but there isn't enough volume for it to bounce back up. Otherwise it looks great except for the lack of buying interest to bring it back up.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Dr Dre and P, IXEH was a chart play to see if it would quickly recover back to a level it was just at a week or so ago. I had it on watch as a possible buy if the momo continued. Since it didn't, I moved on.

IMAI may not be super liquid, but neither is AEOH and look at that chart. As long as a stock is showing an extended upward trend that's moving that consistently and you don't put all your eggs in one basket, it can end up being a very profitable trade IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Are you currently in IMAI? the chart is incredible, I am just scared by the lack of liquidity, at .28 cents anyone of us here could have bought up all the 80k shares volume today.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Dr Dre, yes I'm in IMAI now, but not for a lot of shares. With it not having too many shares outstanding, I felt 50 cents was a pretty reasonable target within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Volume seems to be picking up, but it would be too risky to own much more than 3K-5K shares.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Card, how do you explain how KING went up a 1000% from .0006 to .006 on NO NEWS???!???!???

    That's a 10 bagger we could've all used and I've never been in a 10 bagger before!!

    ReplyDelete
  102. P, three words...Pump And Dump. All stocks are this to a certain degree, but KING was a classic P&D.

    ReplyDelete
  103. ZAGG may be a nice turnaround play after iPad news, check the one-year chart.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I also think that HCEI may get to at least 50 cents before Friday due to today's press release. I think people will get into the stock anticipating great news.

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Healthy-Coffee-to-Release-iw-3729834827.html?x=0&.v=1

    ReplyDelete
  105. Any thoughts on QASP anyone? I see it getting pumped everyone, seems like P&D, but could jump to a nickel on some volume..

    ReplyDelete
  106. Card, thanks for the tip, I bought at the close. Have you checked the company's website? Pretty impressive for a pinkie, IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I've looked at QASP in the past, but it never seemed to have any traits that made me want to take a chance on it.

    ReplyDelete
  108. BGP flying after investor Ackman says BK not likely.

    ReplyDelete
  109. NGLF is another one of those chart plays that just inexplicably goes up almost everyday like AEOH. I haven't found a single positive thing about the company, but the chart certainly is showing a slow, steady grind higher.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Card, congrats and thanks again for the Eastman Kodak pick. I bought at 5.50 and sold at 6.20. However, it is much higher now and it has definitely acted like a perfect stock recently.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Bighoper, congrats to you. I didn't have any funds free to capitalize on the report so I had to watch it on the sidelines. So many times stocks move the opposite of what seems to be the most plausible. However, EK's move was pretty textbook.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Hey guys, I wasn't here today but GOIG has started to take off and could go MUCH higher so keep that on your radar screen.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I just bought BCRX in the pre-market for $7.7. A big earnings beat today, a $15 analyst target and a huge 20% short interest. I think the shorts can take it to 10 dollars in a few days.

Would you like to join the party :) ?

    ReplyDelete
  114. CRXX creeping up before the FDA approval, today it may move to the 1.50-1.70 range despite a downmarket which is hammering BCRX.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I saw CRXX starting to move last week, but didn't act on it. That's definitely one of the few bright spots in an otherwise bloody market today.

I'm reeeeally starting to like HCEI with this move off of the bottom. If the numbers released after hours on Friday are as positive as the CEO implied, a move back to that 75 cents range or higher is not out of the question.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Penny stock vets, do you find that there is more activity in these small companies when the market as a whole is in shambles?

Do money managers choose to instead pour their money into small companies that operate somewhat outside of the broader market?

I am new to the penny stock world, but it is a question I was wondering about.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Bighoper and Card, WHAT price do you guys expect CRXX to go to upon approval? $5 to $10??

What is the expected date for FDA approval for CRXX?

You guys know that FDA stocks can be some of the most amazing plays out there that can change your life very quickly or at least give a LOT of jack but it depends on the stock.

As you know if we just plunked a grand into VRMLQ last August at .01 we'd be multi millionaires by now. Of course that is rare.

It's best to get FDA stock under $1 for the biggest potential gain but CRXX is still at a good price?

    ReplyDelete
  118. There should be no question mark at the end of that last sentence.

CRXX is still at a good price. PERIOD.

    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  119. Card, I am also tempted to add some HCEI after today's news, but aren't they diluting into these recent PR's? It looks very suspicious: one day before the scheduled numbers they are talking about an audit etc. Why not wait for tomorrow? It appears they want to make the most of every PR and sell more shares.

I'll be also probably adding ZAGG. 2.50 looks like a bottom now and it will probably again test 3 dollars soon. The stock was over 6 just three months ago and CEO said: "We remain optimistic about our growth prospects and expect 2010 to be a record year for the company both in revenues and earnings"

    ReplyDelete
  120. Tim, generally speaking penny stocks aren't affected as much by the sentiments of the overall market. That's why a lot of people float over to the pennies when the market is getting pounded. The biggest problem with the pennies though is the extreme volatility. Not for the faint of heart.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I hadn't thought about that Bighoper, but you might have a point about HCEI. However, the technicals are pointing towards a reversal from all the downward action the past few months and people seem to be buying it at the ask. So, it seems like a pretty safe hold for right now. I think I'll remain cautiously optimistic and maintain my position here as oppose to adding.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Card and Bighoper, what about my questions on CRXX?

    ReplyDelete
  123. P, I don't know about $5-$10 for CRXX. That seems a bit high although it is possible. My concern would be that if it continues to run up, it might end up like DDSS yesterday, which sold off on FDA approval news.

    ReplyDelete
  124. P,
CRXX has been a nice bet on a spike before the FDA approval. But without doing your DD on the company, I wouldn't bet on the approval itself. Check the yahoo board for some valution opinions.

    Card,
    HCEI looking sweet!

    ReplyDelete
  125. I'm thinking out loud here. IMGG has begun to move higher again doubling off it's bottom over the last week and a half. Generally, IMGG and VKNG have moved together (they are similar businesses), but VKNG hasn't bounced off its bottom yet. Could VKNG now be a buy as a coattail rider? You might want to put it on watch.

    ReplyDelete
  126. TDGI.pk already my worst performer in months, luckily only have $300 in it...

    ReplyDelete
  127. CPF turning around on big volume.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Dre, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with TDGI.

I bought at .03 once the unaudited financials were released, and within a matter of hours, the price rose to .036. I thought I got in just before the run.

One of the big players manipulated the closing price down to .034 to kill the momentum and the price has fizzled since then. The big players seem to be making money off the wild intra-day swings, from .024 to .032.

It still think this company will take off. It's legit and has a number of movies coming out this year that should get the company some notice.

If this thing gets back up to my purchase price on no news, I'm considering selling and buying back in on another dip because I still believe in the long term despite the short term stalling.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Tim,

patience is the key with TDGI. Example: I bought 30000 shares of CEMJQ at 0.13 and sold for a double at 0.26, because the stock looked stagnant and I was impatient. This week the stock reached $1.70, i.e. a 13-bagger.

So, if you believe in the company, I recommend averaging down in the 0.02 - 0.025 range and hold for at least few months.

    JMHO

    ReplyDelete
  130. I view TDGI the same way, bighoper.

If my money weren't fully invested elsewhere, I would be buying on these dips, but I don't have any free cash.

I still think I will make a real nice profit even if I remain at the .03 level.

    ReplyDelete
  131. HCEI looking like a safe buy now in the 0.25-0.26 range, selling has dried up. Big financials are to be released right after the close so an end-of-day run is likely.

    ReplyDelete
  132. hopper, can you please tell me how much you have invested in TDGI and at what price. thanks

    ReplyDelete
  133. Bighoper I got in HCEI at .27 and 28 but the buying pressure is not that great now. You think it's a safe bet we'll be quite a bit higher on Monday so it's safe to hold?

    ReplyDelete
  134. P,

Card was definitely right saying that HCEI would go up big before earnings (it moved more than 80 percent from 0.20 to 0.37). Now it's a lottery: if the numbers are great and they throw in some juicy info on audited financials and a move to OTCBB, it will gap up to 40-50 cents on Monday. If not, it will go back to 20 cents or even lower, if they are diluting.

To be honest, I don't like lotteries, so I will probably sell, because it is very easy to become a bagholder, starting from Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Bighoper and Card, there is a new Market Maker on HCEI named WDCO who just raised the bid. I've never seen him before. Do you guys know anything about him?

    ReplyDelete
  136. P,

I don't know WDCO. It certainly seems that fear is stronger than greed today, lots of sellers.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Card, Bighoper & the rest did you guys get in GOIG like I said? It has gone up around 40% in just 2 days. With the release of Go800 pretty soon the price could skyrocket all the way to a penny!

    ReplyDelete
  138. I was away much of Friday. HCEI was acting very weird. There still appeared to be more buying volume than selling volume, but the price still dropped significantly. I expected more information from the release after hours, but not much was given. It could recover, but I'm not as optimistic. That's why it is never a bad strategy to take profits prior to anticipated good news.

P, didn't buy GOIG, but it does appear to be performing well.

    ReplyDelete
  139. LOL...I bet you guys are feeling bad you didn't get in GOIG now. Well you can't say that I didn't tell you!

But you can still get in since once Go800 is released soon GOIG could go to a penny!!

    ReplyDelete
  140. Nice call P, but it's usually best to be humble in one's success. In the stock market, it can go as quickly as it comes.

Chart play alert on MDLH. It's got a major uptrend working. It could potentially move to $0.80 - $1.00 quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Card, MDLH volume seems to have dried up and the buying has come to a standstill. I see it opened at .50 on the news of their 3 new products but has barely gone above that and only down since.

Why do you think it can likely move to .80 to $1.00??

Sorry about the GOIG comments. I didn't mean to sound bad but I was just trying to be funny but I'm no Jay Leno! LOL! But GOIG will probably be .005 to a penny in a month or less so still great chance to get in.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Don't worry about it P.

I say potentially 80 cents to a buck in the next couple of weeks on MDLH mainly because that is a psychology price barrier for stocks with a chart pattern like this. A big dump is definitely coming, but I don't think it'll happen until it get to my projected level. It's just a stock to keep on watch due to the strong uptrend. Some of these work out and some of them don't.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Card, what service do you use to view charts? I usually go to stockcharts but MDLH doesn't even come up there. I just use by broker's chart which is not as good but I can tell the chart looks great.

Green DI+ going up and red DI- going down is always great among other great indicators. They're really all good.

I just wish we had more volume since we hardly have any buys coming in and I like stocks that MOVE or at least are pretty active.

    ReplyDelete
  144. P, sometimes I'll use the linear chart that's at Google Finance or the candlestick chart at Bigcharts.com.

    ReplyDelete
  145. good news today for Target Division, price is getting knocked down again however.

    ReplyDelete
  146. It was a strange day.

Huge volume, positive news, but a finish in the red.

I have no idea what that signifies.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Bighoper, you bought CEMJQ back when it was pennies. Do you think CJHBQ has the same potential?

    ReplyDelete
  148. Card, I got in MDLH today as we have more buying pressure today than yesterday.

It takes too long to uptick but the chart look great like you said.

    ReplyDelete
  149. P, I wasn't too sure how MDLH would perform today with the infamous "hammer candle" yesterday, but it does look good so far. After doing a few checks, I'm starting to see quite a few penny stock promo sites begin to pump this. That generally means that the stock should continue to have legs at least for time being as it pops up on the radar of more people each day.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Card, there could be some real potential with CJHBQ. Look at CEMJQ, WAMAQ, and PFFBQ among others.

They gained several hundred or even well over a thousand percent.

It should be good for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Looks like MDLH is quietly moving higher. When a penny stock moves a max of 10% a day, it typically gets lost amongst penny traders because they are generally looking to make it all in a couple of hours. I like how each big dip is at a higher low and is quickly bought.

The other stock I'm watching is EIGH. I wish I would have seen this one yesterday, but missed it. It looks like almost all the buys are at the ask. The way it's trading, it should hit close to 10 cents at some point before possibly pulling back.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Card, I tried to buy EIGH yesterday but for some stupid reason Ameritrade wouldn't even let you buy it!!

Ameritrade is great for pennies and that is the FIRST stock I've seen with them that they don't allow you to buy AT ALL.

Scottrade is considered the worst for pennies since they charge an extra commission plus they restrict even more and you have to call in for many pennies and that KILLS since you can lose the best price.

Do you know why EIGH wouldn't be allowed to be purchased AT ALL?

Ameritrade said it often happens when a company ahs been involved in fraud or some otther illicit activity.

I'm still in MDLH and it's looking good, slow and steady although I wish it would uptick a little faster! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  153. P, that's the first I've heard of Ameritrade not allowing someone to buy a particular stock.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Card, I called Ameritrade and they said you can't buy EIGH since they trade in PHYSICAL shares only i.e. you have to have the actual stock certificates to trade it!!

They said it would cause difficult settlement issues for them.

But EIGH's volume is well above their 60 day average so obviously the other brokerages let their clients buy it so how do they deal with the settlement issues involving EIGH trades on PHYSICAL certifactes only?

    ReplyDelete
  155. Card, what do you think of RELM? I'm hearing it could move big pretty soon.

    ReplyDelete
  156. RELM has moved well the past few days, but I'm not sold on it. Sure, it could triple from this current level, but I haven't see anything about the company that makes me want to buy it at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  157. I'm watching EXTO today. Looking at the yearly chart, it may be on the verge of a breakout coming from a nice rounding bottom. Could hit close to 3 cents in the next couple of weeks if the chart maintains its form.

    ReplyDelete
  158. OPK, huge news out and huge volume.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Guys, look at RNN's volume in the last three days. Moreover, it is being pumped hard by Biomedreports and SeekingAlpha. I bought a boatload at 0.89.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I almost bought RNN at 80 cents yesterday, but didn't think it had enough juice to do much more. I guess I underestimated the "power of the pump".

    ReplyDelete
  161. I'm tempted to load the boat on ROHI. I think it would be worthy of post, but I won't have time to put it together tonight. Crazy insider buying at around the current price and the federal government just awarded them an $88 million contract (but they haven't PR'd it yet because the award was just posted today). There's lots of people buying it now, but the MMs won't move the share price up (that's the only red flag that I see). Only 25 million shares outstanding. It could easily move past a buck if the MMs cooperate and a press release is issued.

    ReplyDelete
  162. So Card, are you going to make another Perfect Stock posting on ROHI?

We need another one of those and a quick doubler plus like FTER!!

    ReplyDelete
  163. https://www.otciq.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=28921

    Audited TDGI financials.

I am quite pleased to see positive earnings per share for 2009 and a board of directors resolution not to issue more stock.

We'll see what happens. This company has posted plenty of good news lately but that hasn't meant much for share price.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Oops.

I said "audited" finanicals but that is because I'm an idiot.

These are not the audited numbers, just another year end financial statement.

Bighoper, what is your experience with the folks at the IHub Boards? I understand that because most of them are invested in the companies they're discussing, they are going to be less than objective when information comes out.

And I also understand they hope to attract more buyers so they act as cheerleaders on the message board.

Is that your general experience as well?

A lot of what those folks say is too good to be true.

    ReplyDelete
  165. P, it doesn't look like ROHI is going to PR their contract so it may have reached a ceiling for now. Friday, it filled the gap of Thursday's spike. If you continue to see positive movement today, it will be a good sign, but I don't think it's perfect anymore.

Lots of eyes appear to be on AMCG due to the technical breakout on Friday. Lots of newsletters pumping this one too. I wouldn't be surprised to see $1.00 - $1.10 in the next few days.

    ReplyDelete
  166. TDGI breaking out on STRONG volume! From down 25 percent to in the strong green here for me, looks good.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Guys, VGPR is being rather heavily promoted and could go for 50% to 100%. Watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Dendreon (DNDN) looks like easy money to the mid 40's now that it's finally broken out of a quadruple top. With FDA approval no later than May 1st, it should start to run into that announcement much like ONXX did in 2007.

    ReplyDelete
  169. CNLG, some good news out today. This low-floater can move pretty fast to $3.

    ReplyDelete
  170. RZ may close near HOD, lots of shares are short, received approval today for $32.99 Million U.S. Treasury Grant.

    Maybe interesting to watch tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Nice catch on the heavy short interest of RZ Bighoper.

    ReplyDelete
  172. In DNDN, (overpaid clearly) at 32.25...I also think it should run to 36 or so.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Dr. Dre, I think you are alright with DNDN. I'm trying to wait for a dip below $31 before I buy. I had been playing the "buy at $26 and sell at $30" for awhile, but I think now is the time to buy and hold.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I'm kicking myself for not dipping my toe into CCTC yesterday especially since I considered buying it at 5 cents. Less than 24 hours later it's over 30 cents. I guess that's why you have to be "in it to win it".

I'll try my luck today with TPHM's merger news.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Card, what price did you get in TPHM?

What price do you think is good to get in now?

Why do you think there are only TWO MM on TPHN? Just DOMS and NITE!

    ReplyDelete
  176. P, I got in TPHM at $0.0016 (not great), but if this gets to a penny, any price between $0.001 and $0.002 should be okay.

I think there are only two MMs because the news hasn't been released through any of the major PR outlets yet. I've noticed in the past that news will be released on pinksheets.com one day and two or three days later it's on the major PR outlets. I think it's still pretty unknown.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Card, how soon do you think TPHM will get to a penny or even .003?

    ReplyDelete
  178. Card, what merger news on TPHM?? There is no merger news listed for them.

Plus there are 2 TPHMs. 1 is trading at around .0016 and the other is only at .0006. You are speaking of the one between .001 and .002 of course right?

    ReplyDelete
  179. P, see link below. You never know with these sub-penny plays. It's basically a lotto.

    http://www.otcmarkets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=tphm#getNews

    ReplyDelete
  180. Card you are a frick GENIUS!! TPHM is another diamond in the rough you found!

We're already at the high for the YEAR at .0026 and breaking .003 is very likely and that penny you talked about is very possible.

How soon do you see that possibility of a penny for TPHM?

    ReplyDelete
  181. P, even a clock is right twice a day so I'll consider TPHM just a lucky guess. I'm thinking .005 is the max today with a penny as a possibility on Monday with the proper weekend buzz. It will be tough for me to not take profits if it hits .005 today though.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Card, you are TOO modest buddy. The truth is you ROCK!! You are rarely wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I meant to say a "broken clock is right twice a day".

    ReplyDelete
  184. Card, you do feel I'm most likely going to be safe holding TPHM over the weekend? I've run into some daytrade trouble.

Can you please answer the e-mail I sent you yesterday?

    Thanks again

    ReplyDelete
  185. Keep an eye on WRSPQ. The fact that SIRI's stock has been on fire is very good for WRSPQ. Also the technicals look like the start of a breakout. I started a position at .055.

    ReplyDelete
  186. P, TPHM has had two days in a row of over 100% gain. When that happens, the third day can be dicey (see CCTC) unless there is really some strong support. If the company releases a PR regarding strong financial numbers from the private company that's part of the merger, it could go much higher. If not, TPHM may retrace quite a bit.

So, to answer question, I won't say that you are "safe" holding through the weekend since there is quite a bit of risk.

    ReplyDelete
  187. Card, another MM came onboard TPHM and it's holding strong here. Another MM coming on board is usually a good sign since interest is building.

Plus I already sold once for a good profit and my shares sold very quickly so if it does retrace on Monday then I should be able to get out fast if I decide to hold over the weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  188. Ihubbers have a super pump job going on with ARGS. It will definitely get dumped eventually, but it could be a money maker these last couple of hours if traded properly. The intra-day chart looks impressive since the initial volume surge and big shake.

    ReplyDelete
  189. Hey guys, what does everyone here think of XOHO, they deal with upcoming 4G technologies for wireless data.

    ReplyDelete
  190. Andre, XOHO seems interesting. I checked it out this weekend and it seems like a pretty solid play. The short term chart looks pretty good as well. The only thing about it that bothers me a bit is that the market cap is already at $127 million, which is a little high. I wouldn't be shocked though if the stock price hit a dollar in the next 3 to 6 months.

    ReplyDelete
  191. The stocks I'm watching this morning are VIVK and CAPS.

    ReplyDelete
  192. Dr. Dre, DNDN just got upgraded by JP Morgan. I guess I won't see the sub $31/share I was hoping for.

    ReplyDelete
  193. thanks Card, my DNDN is solidly in the green now, hope it keeps running towards $36 tho, which is where my sell is. What looks like a decent entry point on XOHO?

    thanks again for your insight.

    ReplyDelete
  194. Card, maybe we should call you GURU from now on?

TPHM is rocking and .01 seems to be a given this week. Some even say .03 is possible SHORT TERM.

Here is great post from someone who spoke to CEO:

JUST SPOKE WITH THE CEO TOLD HIM I JUST BECAME A SHAREHOLDER AND I WAS SURPRISED HE CALLED BACK AT 8:50PM EASTERN TIME.
HE TOLD ME THE COMPANY WILL BE VERY TRANSPARENT AND THE COMPANY WILL RELEASE THE SHARE STRUCTURE IN THE PRESS RELEASES.

HE ALSO STATED WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO GUESS WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE COMPANY THEY WOULD OUTLINE THE STEPS TO MAKING THIS COMPANY ROLL.

I'M TRULY EXCITED TO SEE WHAT THE PLANS ARE FOR THIS HUGE MERGER.

HE SAID THEIR IS A TON OF NEWS FORTH COMING SO STAY TUNED

Card, how high do you think TPHM will go this week?

  195. Andre, 70 cents (on the dip) seems like a pretty entrance for XOHO.

P, I've got no clue on how high TPHM goes, but it does look strong. Just don't get too greedy.

Looks like CHGY is starting to pop again. I don't know if it's another fake move like the previous 3 or 4, but it's worth following. A break above 95 cents and it goes to $1.50 - $1.60.

I've got a "perfect chart" post coming up soon. The chart on this particular stock is so strong, it's only had one day in the red since 12/11/09. Stay tune!

  196. I'm really starting to believe that if you've got a few hundred dollars to risk, the risk/reward on WRSPQ is worth the gamble. It is literally possible for this stock to be a 20 bagger by the end of the week if the right news comes from the Sirius and Liberty Media reports this week.
