10-23-10 - Low Float, Undervalued Silver stock makes Golden Minerals Co. (AUMN) Perfect

New post here at the Perfect Stock Blog. I've actually been sitting on this one for a couple of weeks, but the setup is just too perfect now to ignore. As I've stated before, the objective of the blog is to pick stocks that I believe can achieve 75% or higher gains at some point during the next 30 days. Generally the stocks with the most potential to obtain such aggressive results are penny stocks located on the OTC marketplace. However, this stock selection will differ quite a bit because it currently holds a stock price above $20.00 and resides on the AMEX exchange. I believe Golden Minerals Company (AUMN) has been and still is a perfect stock.

Golden Minerals is a Delaware corporation based in Golden, Colorado, primarily engaged in the advancement of its pipeline of exploration projects in Mexico and South America. The Company has a portfolio of approximately 30 exploration projects, including the El Quevar project in the Salta Province of northwestern Argentina and advanced stage drilling projects in Mexico and Peru. Back in August of 2010, the company announced an increase in silver reserves at the El Quevar project to 60 million ounces. Silver currently is being priced at more than $23/oz.

Silver is surging

Silver is in a serious bull market. See chart below:

Although silver has been priced lower in recently days, most believe the price will eventually move higher. The Chinese in particular are ultra concerned with inflation and are also hoarding precious metals and rare earth elements to help fuel their domestic growth. As a result, China is expected to reduce there silver exports by 40%. By a major player like China reducing the rest of the world's supply, the price of silver should inherently rise.

Low Float

After a recent private placement, Golden Minerals still only has about 15 million shares outstanding. Over 87% of the shares are owned by institutional holders or insiders. That is the one of the highest among publicly owned precious metal companies. That means only about 2 million shares are left to the retailers for trading purposes. In other words, it won't require much to move the stock higher.

Technicals

See below for AUMN chart:

As you can see, the stock first began its rise in September and has move up about 300% in the last two months. AUMN finally took a short breather during the 2nd week of October when the company announced a secondary offering. During the offering the Bollinger Bands tightened, which generally is a technical precursor for a significant move, at around $22/share. On Friday, Golden Minerals announced that the offering was over and the shares explode to $25 on solid volume signaling another technical breakout.

Huge price target increase

After the initial explosion of AUMN from $8 to $15 due to the surge in silver prices, the stock hit overdrive when a price target of $104 was given by the brokerage firm Dahlman Rose. With silver priced the way it is, the firm believes that AUMN deserves a billion dollar plus market cap to make it comparable to its peers. After the secondary offering, the target was later revised to $85. Even with AUMN currently at $25, the price target allows for plenty of upside. See link for the report. http://www.scribd.com/doc/38536240/DRCO-AUMN-CoNote-2010-10-01

Insiders are still buying

Some people would be hesitant to buy a stock that's already moved 200-300% so quickly. Well, the insiders of AUMN aren't one of them. During the company's secondary offering priced at $18.50 practically every significant insider in the company participated. The CEO, CFO, VP, Chief Geologist and Directors all took advantage of the opportunity to add to their share count. Also, AUMN's largest institutional holder added during the placement as well. If all of those guys feel confident about adding at these levels, I see no reason why a retail investor wouldn't be comfortable doing the same.

Conclusion

This stock maybe has more indicators for upward movement than I've ever seen. You've got a low float company with assets of the surging commodity silver, great technicals, a big price target, and insider buying. I haven't even mentioned the fact that low float big board stocks have been red hot of late (LIVE, RITT, etc.). Golden Minerals could be another one that gets pushed up by traders as well. The only thing that I see that could derail the upward movement of AUMN is if the price of silver does a temporary nosedive. I believe $40-$45 will come quickly. Golden Minerals Company (AUMN) is the perfect stock.

  1. Thanks Card! Nice to see a big board pick. Sounds fantastic.

Do you see potential for a dip below $25 before heading higher? Curious: what do you think this sucker might hit by year end?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Frank, I think it's possible tomorrow, but all dips are being bought. The floor has basically been set at $18.50. I actually bought it the day they announced the secondary at $19.

Look out for hedge funds to push it hard in November. Most of them have their fiscal year end on Nov 30th and they like to make those final quarter numbers look good. AUMN is perfect for end of year window dressing because it doesn't take much for it to have 10-20% daily runs. I think $50-$60 is possible by year end.

  3. Thanks Card. Doesn't look like I'll get my pull-back. LOL! AUMN looking pretty strong.

  4. Just posting a comment to subscribe to the post.

Good luck with this one, Card and Frank.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Well maybe I will! It just dove below $26.

    Thanks Tim. You getting in?

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'll take a look when I get a chance, Frank. I will probably end up one of those people who are scared off by the monster run.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Card, I didn't even see this till now! I posted a comment to the old blog and wondered why you hadn't answered me? LOL

    I posted the following:

Card, please tell me what you think of MLXO. Chart looks very good and level 2 is THIN after .012! It has already passed the 20 MA, 50 MA, and 200 MA days to weeks ago.

MLXO is also being promoted by a large Japanese group that claims it's going to .10 in 4 weeks! Actually Wowzastocks is saying that.

    http://twitter.com/Wowzastocks

They have a pretty good track record of MULTI-baggers.

Also, NACF did pretty good today. How high do you think it will go and how long do you think the run will continue? Many thankks pal.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Frank, AUMN tanked with the rest of the market the last 15 minutes of trading. Looks like you might get your wish. The low float makes it pretty volatile.

P, MLXO's chart does look good, but 10 cents might be too aggressive a target. Since it's been up so many days in a row, I'd have a quick sell trigger with any weakness. I sold out of NACF today at 10 cents. After 4 up days in a row, my gut tells me that it may need a breather.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm in! Sounds like a no-brainer with this one. No going to wait for a dip and will gladly ride one out if it comes.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Card, I'm glad you were wrong about NACF! How high do you think it can go now? Should I hold out for the 50 MA at .12? Of course I'll sell if it starts to tank.

Card, did you get in MLXO like I said? Now you see why! Hope everyone else reading this blog got in too and there's still a lot more to go in the days and weeks ahead!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I didn't get any MLXO P.

Low floater TORM is really moving now.

    ReplyDelete
  12. i, I've noticed the same thing with MSLP and have been following it.

I'm kicking myself this morning because my limit order at the open for NXPND didn't get filled. I could of had an easy double. I also can't believe I missed the breakout of PDGO the past few days. That was as obvious as they come.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Card, NACF looking very good! Great pick buddy! We hit .1295 and .15 is next on level 2! Don't you think we could hit .15 this week and 1.01 is next after that! The 52 wk. high is $10.50!!

They started scoping on their Mississippi Biomass project that's due to bring in millions! Even .20 is possible by Monday you think?

    ReplyDelete
  14. P, you may want to consider selling 50-75% now and letting the rest ride. You've got at least a double. Don't risk it all.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yes Card, I did that my friend. Now I'm hoping we can knock off UBSS at .19 and then next up on level 2 is PUMA at .42!!

Don't you think .20 is possible this week for NACF and then .30 to .40 by next week? Anticipation is building for this big Biomass project plus the 52 week high is $10.50! NACF can go a LOT higher!

    ReplyDelete
  16. P, I'm sensing a temporary top with NACF at 19. The stock has had a slow walk-up and today was the top blow off move. Generally after that occurs, there is usually a sizable retrace before moving higher.

    ReplyDelete
  17. UPCO may have some potential. Almost all buys at the ask with breakout volume.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Card, UPCO level 2 looks fantastic! Only 2 MM and then .23! But the volume has totally stalled. With the news out at 9:15 A it's several hours old and there is no continual surge in volume so where do you expect the volume to come from?

    ReplyDelete
  19. P, I figured that if it closes over 8 cents, technical buyers will be all over it tomorrow since the chart would indicate a breakout on about 40 times the average volume.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Card, I'm not trying to be funny here, but is the appropriate play to put a buy order in just before close hoping to ensure a close above 8 cents? I imagine if it does close above 8 and technical buyers are all over it tomorrow that getting a decent price at the open would be difficult.

This play would attempt to ensure the run tomorrow and also get one in at a good price.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Card and Tim, I got some UPCO shares at .075.

Wouldn't you say I'm in good shape?

Level 2 has .145 next and then .23 after that!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Tim, what you have suggested is exactly what a lot of "groups" do to pump up their plays. They'll get together and if necessary, take one for the team by buying high at the end of the day to ensure the chart stays nice and pretty. Right now the stock is sitting at .075 (a tiny bidwhack took it down), but the bid/ask is .075 x .08. It technically won't be a breakout unless it closes above .08 so any manipulation attempted is still at the mercy of the MM's bid/ask unless the buying volume is substantial.

You're really now starting to think like an advanced trader, which is awesome. They call it painting the tape.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Pretty amazing range swings with AUMN.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Frank, I was thinking the same thing. 10-15% intraday swings for a stock in the 20's is almost unheard of. It almost trades likes a pinksheet stock. AUMN is definitely a strong little sucker though. I guess today was really the day to get in. Sorry about that.

P, your .075's are starting to look good already.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hey, no problem Card. I'm quite positive I'm going to make money on this one! Congrats on your substantial gains thus far.

Still holding SSN? I'm holding till at least May so I can sell for fewer taxes. It is still my major holding. I think the next level up will come when new investors get some Niobrara oil patch news to confirm their hopes in that area.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Frank, I actually sold my SSN because I wanted to keep my small gain. I didn't get in as early as you. I still have my eye on it though just in case it starts another uptrend.

RITT might hit 10 bucks today. Low floater, chart showing a breakout again after consolidation and good pre-market volume.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Card, what are your thoughts on UPCO? I didn't expect it to have no volume like this but after the fair surge we had at close yesterday plus what you said of a technical breakout I thought we'd gap or at least have a nice first half hour.

How long do you suggest holding it and what do you expect?

    ReplyDelete
  28. P, I think it's way too early to give up on UPCO. I wasn't expecting a gap. I'm going to at least give it the entire day and then decide what I'll do based on what I see. What I see determines my expectations.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Card, ELTK is another low floater big board stock that could really move and as you know there have been several lately. It's only in the $1.20s.

It only has a float of 5.92 million and OS of 6.6 million. What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  30. P, it might be worth taking a flyer on it. Low floaters are red hot!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm not going to say that ELC is perfect, but it is the lowest float stock of all the big board stocks that hasn't had a major run. It also has pretty good looking technicals. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if it doubles at some point in the next 2 weeks. The way these low floaters are running some trading group/ hedge fund is going to target it eventually. It's a risky play do to its lack of liquidity, but it may be worth the gamble for a limited number of shares.
    http://www.lowfloat.com/

    ReplyDelete
  32. Card, what do you think of ELTK? You think it could reach 2 bucks and you think it would be safe to hold overnight? Thanks pal

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hi Card, you still think $10 for RITT possible?

    ReplyDelete
  34. liverpool65, I think $10 is still possible for RITT. It's in one those low volume, mid-day, sagging/consolidating patterns. It all depends on if you get that late day volume surge. It'll probably dip below $7 briefly, bounce back and then some big money player will have to decide if they want to push it higher.

P, I wouldn't feel safe holding any super low floater overnight if it's already had a run. I'm not sure where ELTK goes.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Card, appreciate your opinions. Looks like you're right again. Cheers

    ReplyDelete
  36. P, are you still holding some NACF? It's still rollin'.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Card, it looks like we should've held NACF. I got scared yesterday when it dipped all the way down to .13 so I sold just before that.

Don't you think there's a good chance ELTK will gap up tomorrow AM? I really need to save a day trade and when stocks show a lot of momo like this they almost always gap up in the AM.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That's a risky proposition P. It may work out, but rolling the dice with a late day mover like LOCN may reap a larger reward vs the risk.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Card, what happened to the comment I left??

How high do you think LOCN will go?? It's a reverse merger play and some say as high as 10 cents! I got in on a pullback. I didn't get in yesterday since it really seemed to crashed EOD when it was over a penny and then went all the back to .0085 but I obviously I should've!

    We really should've held NACF!

    ReplyDelete
  40. LOCN is anybody's guess now. I bought it yesterday at .007 (only about a 150 bucks worth though) and had a limit sell at 5 cents. Unfortunately, it didn't get that high and I ended up selling at 3 cents. Not quite what I wanted, but I'll take it.

I know what you mean about NACF, but it's finally tanking now.

    ReplyDelete
  41. P, I bought back in to LOCN. I think I like the risk reward here as the buzz grows especially since it was hinted in one of the filings that they will release an 8-K. Hopefully, that will occur either after the market closes today or in the pre-market on Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Good move Card. I'd bet anything LOCN hits at least .05 at some point even if it is Monday. Since the float is only 9.5 million don't you think .10 is within the realm of possibility?

I just wish SO MUCH I bought when you mentioned yesterday but the last 10 minutes or so it crashed fairly hard and I was scared it tank up opening! But I should've know that when a stock explodes the last hour of trading that's a VERY strong sign it will keep moving up the next day!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Card, here is a link to the 10K filed yesterday by LOCN.

    http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=7521186

Can you please tell me what you think of #10? It says the company may plan to issue more shares in a merger or acquisition which will result in dilution.

But OBVIOUSLY that will be far down the line and we'll be long gone from LOCN, right? Also people read the 10K yesterday and that wasn't an issue since the stock exploded.

Also with ANY reverse merger there is a potential for dilution yet they basically the best penny play out there!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Card, how did you find LOCN yesterday?

    ReplyDelete
  45. LFBG should rock Monday with that chart and news.

    ReplyDelete
  46. aroramax, I found LOCN scanning message boards. I actually hesitated on it for about 20 minutes before I just decided to just buy it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Anybody just a little concerned that the stock market may "sell the news" after next week's elections? I think it has been on this long rally due to QE and the apparent comming revolt in the elections. I'm guessing the market may either drop after the assumption comes true, or it may go up a little more and then sell off for profits. I wonder how this would affect AUMN? I feel safe holding SSN long since the Niobrara shale play will trump whatever the market is doing.

    http://www.aapg.org/explorer/2010/11nov/niobrara1110.cfm

    ReplyDelete
  48. Frank, if the elections have any effect it would be the big boards that are mostly affected not pennies.

Some pennies may see some affect but not overall. That's the way it's basically always been.

    ReplyDelete
  49. P, I know.LOL! That's why I mentioned AUMN.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Frank, if the market drops after the election, it'll probably just be temporary because the market generally rallies in November and December.

I'm really kicking myself with CPMCF. I've been watching it since 9 cents, but figured it would have tanked long before now. Boy was I wrong!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Card, did you get out of LOCN? It hit 8.5 cents. I sold at 6 and obviously I regret that BUT I did get a doubler out of. I'm just sick and tired of losing out profit when stocks tank so I chose NOT to be greedy and cashed out.

I also got out of SAEIE with a 50% profit. But with all the heavy losses I've taken in the past 2 months I still need several winners to compensate.

    What do you recommend buddy?

    ReplyDelete
  52. P, I'm still in LOCN, but I don't know for how much longer. If I were you, I'd just wait for the next train.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Good idea Card. What do you think of IIIIU? It's a low floater that has 30X average volume!

You think it can reach the high of day of 7 bucks again today? They usually do or come close! It's pulled back all the way to the 3 buck range!

    What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hey Frank,
You mentioned you are holding SSN until May. I am also still holding (however I am kicking myself for not sticking to my sell order at $1.40). Is there any reason your picking May? This company has shown me nothing but positivity but the stock doesn't seem to want to translate this. If you have any insight on SSN, it would awesome if you could share it here.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I saw your post about LOCN after 4pm :( so saddddd... subscribing now heh (btw this is i)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hi Elias,

I got heavily into SSN back in March and was very lucky trading it during the first few months. I accumulated so many shares that I stopped trading it in May to hold it for over a year to pay fewer taxes since I am totally convinced that SSN is going MUCH, MUCH higher next year and beyond. (Multi-bagger from here for sure.) So that's why I am holding till AT LEAST May.

I think most of us were surprised at the dominant sell-the-news mentality that prevailed right after the major milestone of getting the 79 million came. A very large number of investors were happy to just get out since then. I am loving the consolidation and have no doubt we go much higher. Heck, SSN is trading today at or below CASH value.

The next batch of investors is betting on the Niobrara oil patch and it is extremely attractive. Read all the news about companies betting big bucks. I think it is more than possible that SSN could even go over $5 next year.

Once the period of confidential status on some Niobrara wells is lifted (like CHK's), I think we will start to get a stampede of new investors to drive the price up.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I agree that the potential of this stock far outweighs the risks. The current trend is closely mirroring what happened from late April to late June. Only difference now is that there is no $80 million coming. If you're $5 prediction comes anywhere close next year I will be satisfied! Thanks for the info.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Does anyone have any update for SLPT? Im still holding.. I have seen news about BORNEO ENERGY USA, INC tied to Solopoint, but nothing really has come out..

    thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Ryanpass, there's still nothing on SLPT. At least 2 cents appears to be the bottom. However, if that doesn't hold, I'd bail. I lost patience with it and moved on.

    ReplyDelete
  60. TOVC is ridiculous. Up 12 straight days.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Wow, Card you were very correct on UPCO! I got in the .07s but unfortunately I sold since I didn't see it doing anything the next day but go down. If I had held I would up over 50%!

Can you please answer my e-mail?

    Thanks pal

    ReplyDelete
  62. The Speculative Bio-Tech Investor, I'm hesitant of CYPE. It could go higher, but it's risky after two big up days. YGDC is riding the gold wave. If gold is still up tomorrow and you see some early morning strength, it might not be to bad of a gamble IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm not much of a shorter, but you could make a killing the next couple of days shorting "weed" stocks now that Prop 19 didn't pass. Unfortunately, there is no Marijuana Bear 3X ETF.

    ReplyDelete
  64. But Card aren't almost all marijuana stocks pinkies and you can't short those. Stocks like GRNH, CBIS, HESG, etc. are pinks.

What big board marijuana stocks are you speaking of that can be shorted?

    ReplyDelete
  65. P, you can short pinkies. That fact that you can't is a myth. You just have to have the right broker to do it.

UPCO opened at 21 cents today. Crazy!

    ReplyDelete
  66. The Speculative Bio-Tech Investor, it looks like I was wrong about CYPE.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yes Card but you must have a proprietary account. I have TDA and you can't do it and you have BOA/Merril Lynch but I called them and you can't do it with them either.

You don't short pinkies right because you've never mentioned it before?

    ReplyDelete
  68. No, I don't short P. Small timer like me can't short with the big boy brokers. You have to use the smaller ones like Sogo and Speedtrader. That's why most really serious traders have multiple brokerage accounts. I've been considering using Speedtrader for sometime now, but I just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. From what I've read they really give you an edge if you like trading pennies.

SHARD looks really good to me. Only 8 million OS.

    ReplyDelete
  69. P, your LOCN .06's are looking pretty good right now.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Card, when did you sell LOCN or are you still in or did you buy back? I sold it yesterday but then bought back at .05 then sold today at .085 when I saw the bid weakening. 70% in a day would normally be a good profit but NOT here!

I know you have posted the AGONY of when you sell to early and that is EXACTLY how I feel! I'm banging by head on the wall for selling! Do you think LOCN will dip below .10 again? Hopefully it does and I can scoop some up.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

    ReplyDelete
  71. P, I got out of LOCN on Monday. The $150 I spent when I first bought it would be worth three grand right now if I had held. However, you can never be too upset about making a profit.

It appears than LOCN should be bought on all major weakness until the official news of the merger comes out. It might be best to look for early morning 30-40% dips as buying opportunities.

    1. Stumbled upon this a moment ago. Do you still think this to be true?

      Delete
  73. Card, what a FANTASTIC call on UPCO. I got in at .075 but sold the next day since it actually went down so I sold for a small loss but if I held it would've been a TRIPLER!!

I hope you are right on LOCN and we'll see a nice dip tomorrow since getting some LOCN at .10 or less is sure fire winner don't you think? Even if you got in at .12 or so with the high of .18 today.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Hey Card,

    Liking AUMN so far.

How is it acting this past week compared to the weeks that you have had it?

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Based on the charts LOCN could probably hit 8-9 cents at some point. Those would be some nice shares to scoop.

Keep an eye on VTPI. It's got a suspicious looking chart (particularly the 5-day). It has less than 1 million shares outstanding.

    ReplyDelete
  76. AUMN report out....

    http://www.marketwatch.com/story/golden-minerals-reports-third-quarter-2010-2010-11-03?reflink=MW_news_stmp

    ReplyDelete
  77. Frank, AUMN has always been very volatile. I think many people like to trade it (long and short) during the day because of the 5%-20% daily swings. As long as it keeps making higher lows, it should be golden. Silver keeps making news highs and is up like 5% today. Strangely, when silver spikes, AUMN doesn't generally go up the same day. However, it always catches up within a day or two. As I've said before, I'm expecting some serious pops during the 2nd and 3rd week of November. I think the quarterly report is much to do about nothing. With these kind of companies, it's all about the value of the assets in the ground.

The Speculative Bio-Tech Investor (from now on I'll call you TSBTI), I missed the dip yesterday on WCRS. It does look good. We'll see if it's just a one day wonder.

    ReplyDelete
  78. What do you think about SENZ.. reversing?

    ReplyDelete
  79. Phase, I looked at SENZ earlier thinking the same as you. I had a bid at .025 on the bounce, but it never got filled. It's definitely worth following though.

I don't know what's driving WRIT other than technicals and momo, but it could have a big afternoon. I got a little at .003 just in case. We'll see what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  80. SNVP is dipping before close.. may be worth getting a small stake.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Does anybody think the FGBF news released is legit? It was PR'd after hours, but was originally annouced yesterday. I picked up some just before the close today just in case.

    ReplyDelete
  82. $6 a share?? wow.. sounds to good to be true.. website is in development -- no real details on the assets but then again that's what you get these OTC securities.. Whether it's real or untrue, this looks poised for a major pop tomorrow.. Can't wait to see in the pre-market.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Such a strange and cult-like PR release for FGBF..
    http://www.worldcorporateassets.com/News.html

    ReplyDelete
  84. AERL looks really good. There probably won't be much selling until after it hits $10-$11.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Shorts look to giving AUMN jet fuel this morning.

CBKN looks like an interesting financial play.

    ReplyDelete
  86. P, you were right about IIIIU.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Thanks Card but I've been waiting to hear your analysis on UPCO. I got in at .075 when you mentioned the technical breakout but unfortunately it was down the next day so I sold to hop on the next train.

Yet the next week it went all the way to .21! Did the bid hit .20? But just like SLPT I would've expected the momo to continue and wouldn't have sold then it fell to around .15 and I would've had to settle for that BUT it's still a doubler! Great call! Although it was more delayed than your usual calls.

  88. P, when a stock like UPCO opens with a gap that big, it's an automatic sell at that point. I don't know what the bid/ask was. To be honest, I haven't followed it much since. I don't expect it to get anywhere close to that level again any time soon.

  89. I knew VTPI was suspicious. It's up almost 300% from when I mentioned it here on Wednesday.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Man, I almost bought PNXE 3 times on Thursday in the 35-40 cents range, but for some reason, I didn't do it. Then, it hits $4 this morning :(

    ReplyDelete
  91. Card, TRDY is a shell that was recently sold. It looks like it could have a lot of potential. Has pulled back to .002s after going as high as .01!

    What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  92. TSBTI, TAON does set up well. It looks to be worth the gamble as well as does TRDY P.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Card, I thought you called LFBG but I must've seen it somewhere else. That's about the easiest 50% you could make. They started marketing their games on Friday at certain retailers and they are up over 50% on Monday! Unfortunatetly I didn't get in.

If someone got in at .004 a week ago they would've cashed in over a 100%!

    ReplyDelete
  94. anyone get in DGRI today? i tried getting in at the open but it just kept climbing.. finally got in at .029 ..got scared and sold at .033. I made some gas money lol

Take a look at BVX. They just filed a 510k app.. chart looks good.. and only 17.7M outstanding shares.

    ReplyDelete
  95. SBTI, where did you find TAON?? That's a FANTASTIC call!!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Phase, I've been watching DGRI since it was $0.015 and didn't buy it because I thought I was getting in too late. Bonehead move on my part for never pulling the trigger.

TSBTI, wasn't able to trade this afternoon so I missed out on TAON. I don't like to hold short term trades when I can't follow it the entire trading day.

  97. Card, take a look at the articles linked in this discussion thread below. Sounds like more fuel to make AUMN explode!

  98. Frank, it's sort of frustrating to watch silver knock on the door of $30, see other silver stocks rising daily, and AUMN sort of lag behind. However, it's still soundly in an uptrend and this is the kind of stock that can make a 20% move in a 3 or 4 hours. I think we'll see the 30's soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Hi Card, what are your thoughts on CBKN?

    ReplyDelete
  100. liverpool65, I initially really like CBKN, but it looks like some of its momo has faded. It could still pop again, but there are better plays right now IMO.

For the penny players, TRDY and DANR could be monsters today.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Guys, time to check into INLS -- they have a report coming out on their alzheimer's drug trial in Dec. Safety profile was perfect. It's already inching up and will prob. more than double in value by Dec.

    ReplyDelete
  102. missed out on BVX.. told u guys yesterday!

    ReplyDelete
  103. P, I'm assuming you bought TRDY. What was the share price of your first buy? I got it yesterday at .0022.

    ReplyDelete
  104. AGCZ looks like an easy money buy here at 2 cents with that 6 month chart breakout.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Card, I hope you got in TRDY. It could REALLY be a monster. There is report of them merging with an Oil/Gas company and if it's true people have stated it could go as high as .50!!

Of course that's hyperbole but you get the idea!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Card, what's your take on today's AUMN action? Follows the market obviously. Volume was much, much more than average. I'm hoping that is a GOOD thing as in people are getting in at the discount price.

    ReplyDelete
  107. It looked like there was a bear raid on precious metals and oil as they all tanked quickly today. That could signal a temporary downward trend in commodities the next few days. There's a lot selling and shorting in AUMN right now. The down side of the low floaters is that they can also become a target of shorter selling if the buying subsides. $24 is my key number. If that doesn't hold, I may have to lock in my profits and wait until the buyers come back and the shorters have moved on.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thanks Card. Don't blame you for stepping out for a little while to trade the swings (if you do) since you got in at $19.

I'm going to ride it out. Heck we swung down to $23 something just a few days ago.

    ReplyDelete
  109. GRYE could have a nice breakout today.

    ReplyDelete
  110. People seem to be believing the SPPH buyout PR. It's amazing how things vary from stock to stock.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Card, don't you feel GRYE will come back and test .05 again?

Also what do you think of the FDA play HNAB? It could explode tomorrow with the conference call. L2 is pretty thin with a fairly low float.

    ReplyDelete
  112. P, after watching the stock this morning, I'm wondering if GRYE is diluting. The morning gap up killed a lot of the momentum, but it may return.

I really like MMOG right now. In the next week or two, I'm looking for it to maybe make a parabolic move to the $1.50 - $2.00 range as it "speeds up". The chart is just too suspicious looking.

    ReplyDelete
  113. check out FLTT.. part of the Deloitte fast tech 50.. has a nice PR out today..

    ReplyDelete
  114. FLTT and MMOG both look pretty great.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I agree Tim and TSBTI. FLTT hitting at least a penny sometime within the next 2 days looks to be almost a done deal.

    ReplyDelete
  116. And Card, pushing through a penny would be breakout time, no?

    ReplyDelete
  117. Tim, FLTT's 3-month high is $.013. So, it would technically have to push beyond that number to really be a legit breakout.

    ReplyDelete
  118. My order was filled. Good luck to the rest of you who are in FLTT as well.

    ReplyDelete
  119. FLTT will have a monster run within the next few weeks..

    ReplyDelete
  120. SBTI, why do you say that? FLTT's news is nice but not exactly earth-shattering. How do you see a MONSTER run coming??

    ReplyDelete
  121. Card, I asked you about the FDA play HNAB? They just finished Phase II results for their anti-cancer drug and are starting the NDA application process. They're having a conference call tomorrow and people are looking for around a dollar.

    What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  122. P, HNAB has had a nice run, but it is always risky to hold a stock (particularly a penny stock) that is running up into earnings. It's too risky for me, but it might work out for you.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Anybody looking at AGEEF on the pinks related to AUMN?

Hopefully we are leaving the $25s for good soon in AUMN.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Frank, I'll have to check out AGEEF.

ABL is under the radar. Awesome earnings report. I think it'll hit $8 by Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Well, FLTT turned out to be a turd. I've lowered my expectations quite a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Card, why did you think FLTT was heading towards .01 in a couple days??

    ReplyDelete
  127. Hope some of you got OPTZ.. since I posted it went up even more..
btw, P, I think FLTT is in for some pretty good gains. This one I'd say is def. a keeper. They are generating some pretty nice revenues approx. 34M I believe and were identified by Deloitte recently as a rapidly growing telecom firm.. They aren't another fly by the dark penny stock company. That's my two cents.

    ReplyDelete
  128. LOL! Are Card and I the only ones that got into AUMN? Am I the only one left? :)

(Card, I guess you "locked in your profits" at above $24?)

    ReplyDelete
  129. Card, would you still hold SPPH? It reached .64 today and with the buyout offer of .97 isn't it quite possible it could go higher?

I already sold a little over half my shares at about 20% profit when my limit order went through when I was not online.

You feel it's still good to hold for the rest of the week or just a few more days or not at all?

    ReplyDelete
  130. Yeah Frank, I've locked in profits on AUMN and am waiting for it to confirm an uptrend again.

P, I personally wouldn't bother holding SPPH any longer. I think there are or will be better options out there for your money. I recently jumped back in to TRDY on the dip after locking in some profits on its first run. I'm hoping for a move to 2 cents if it can get some more momo in the next few days.

I've found 3 absolutely perfect charts. Be on the look out for a post on them in the next couple of days.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Card, I'm down pretty big on GRYE. I didn't get a chance to get out on Friday so at least the bleeding has stopped and I'm hoping for a rebound. It is up slightly today.

It has broken the 20 MA, 50 MA, and 200 MA which is good and the RSI has levelled off around 50 after being down the end of last week and the Wm%R is starting to turn up again.

If there was dilution at the end of last week it's over now. Don't you think GRYE could come back this week?

The weak hands seem to be out.

    ReplyDelete
  132. P, GRYE may come back, but I got out last week. I just didn't trust it and cut my losses.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Some think that SLV has to close its gap at $24.25 before AUMN can resume its climb.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Card, im looking forward to your new pick(s) ... Check out HSCO, had a monster day today and judging by its chart it has more room to run?

    ReplyDelete
  135. RODM just gave AUMN a $50 target.
